Superintendent's Office

May 25, 2017

BCS Teachers, Staff, Administrators,

The 2016-2017 School Year was a productive one.  We had our share of challenges, but overcame them with the necessary passion and push to remain steadfast in our quest to be the best – for the students.  The teachers at every school have demonstrated an intentional shift toward student learning and the district has kept a focus on safety and security to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for all.

Our most recent survey shows that we honor and uphold “professionalism” as something we do well and want to continue doing well.  Keeping a culture of professionalism breeds respect amongst the students at every grade level, and there in every classroom across the district are a majority of respectful students.

We carry all of the necessary components of a thriving learning community – great students, awesome teachers, caring support staff, and passionate leaders.

Let’s move into this next school year with a new vision of success.  Professional collaboration and alignment of our resources and efforts toward what’s best for our students will bring us to new heights without a doubt.

The hard work of all of the Belen Consolidated Schools’ faculty, staff, students, and support of the families is much appreciated.

With high respect,

Max Perez, Superintendent
